As I prayed with my children tonight, I mentioned for the second consecutive night about the terrible tragedy that occurred south of us. As I knelt next to the comfortable bed, underneath our sturdy roof and over stable ground, I thought of the grief and pain and insecurities that some poor Haitian people are feeling at that very moment. Please let them know that at that moment millions of prayers are with them, from all around the world. With them in grief, with them in pain and with them in death.
Please Lord let them realize that even though they may seem hopeless, that even in the darkest times their faith in You will carry them to a mountain so high above the gloom, with a sky so blue, so peaceful and safe. Welcome them home.
